Mixed Performances all round
Weekend 24th/25th July 2010
The League double header against Claygate saw the 1s travel away whilst the 2s took on Claygate at the Kingfield. With the 1s falling to a heavy defeat the 2s were able to grind out an important victory against the league high fliers, maintaining their hunt for promotion.
Sunday saw the 1s fall to a defeat against Yateley whilst although the 2s suffered the same fate against Wonersh it should detract from what was an exciting encounter with some top performances from the Kingfield outfit.

Summer Washout!
Weekend 14th/15th August 2010
Nothing can hold back the tide of the British summer as Saturday saw both games abandoned for the OWCC league times. Whilst the 1s were able to play till into early evening after a prolonged tea break, the downpour eventually came calling an end to proceedings.
Sunday however saw the 1s continue their fine run in form, as they completed a convincing victory over Merstham.
South Africa vs England
Friday 20th August 2010
The scene has been set and on Bank Holiday Monday 30th August, Dev’s South Africa and Matt Prisco’s England sides will do battle at the Kingfield in what promises to be an epic clash. 2009 saw England come out triumphant. Can South Africa come out all guns blazing and take revenge?
To find out we invite all members, family and friends to come and support your team, or even come along and enjoy what will no doubt be an great game! The format has been set at 2 innings of 20/20, with the 1st innings paving way for at least 4 colts per team. What an opportunity this will be for the young guns, who no doubt will show us some signs of future years to come!
The day will be great family day for the club, so do make your way down. Early signs are they may even be a barbeque on offer, and who could pass that up! Look forward to seeing you there!
OWCC League teams reflect on improved season
Saturday 28th August 2010
The league season has ended with a win for the 1s and defeat for the 2s, although against their respective league champions. Although neither team gained promotion, both finished 4th in their respective leagues, 2010 has none the less shown a marked improvement. Watch out 2011!

England win against South Africa
Monday 30th August 2010
For the second year running England have come out on top of South Africa after an absorbing and exciting encounter. The match had a bit of everything, but what shone through was the quality the OWCC players on both teams have to offer, with some strong batting and bowling performance all round.
Thank you to all those that made the day a success, especially the friends and family bolstering the Kingfield sidelines.
